Taught by our John Jay HS Coaching Staff, "The John Jay Way" soccer clinics will focus on small group instruction to work on 1v1 defending and attacking principles within the game of soccer. We will be introducing the player to some of the defending and attacking principles used by the JJHS Men’s & Women's High School Soccer program.
Defending: To understand proper techniques of 1v1 defending including proper stance and footwork, the angle of approach and how to use the body when defending.
Attacking: to work on shooting technique with and without pressure as well as recognize awareness of the defender and goalkeeper in goal scoring opportunities.
- Open to Boys and Girls from 5th-9th Grade
- Sessions will run for 6 weeks from 4/24-6/8
- Boys: Hosted by our JJHS Varsity staff, Peter Neidell & James Eggler on Mondays from 4:45-5:45pm (6 wks from 4/27-6/8). A second session at 5:45-6:45 will be set up of we exceed our registration goals.

The John Jay Futbol Club is pleased to provide our Travel Players an opportunity to participate in Free Goalie Training sessions this Spring. Non-Travel JJFC players, or those from other programs at the JJFC, or from the surrounding community will be invoiced $120.
Clinics will run from 4/24-6/5 on Fridays from 6-7pm (Location TBD)
For the introductory player, footwork, handling & shot-stopping are emphasized. Players will be taught the fundamentals as well as developing an understanding for safety and physical requirements.
For the advanced player, footwork, handling, shot-stopping, distribution, dealing with crosses and playing as a defender are emphasized. An intense program will push players physically; developing reactions, hand eye coordination, timing and efficient technique.
Our Adult Co-Ed program is designed around a round-robin schedule for 4-6 teams that will play each Sunday evening at Meadowpond Elem. School OR Fox Valley Park. This is a friendly, albeit competitive league, for 30+ soccer players that want to stay in shape while playing the game that we have all grown up with. In addition to the Sunday evening games, midweek "pick-up" games will also be scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays, for those that wish to attend.
For Information on the Adult Co-Ed League, please contact: Ramesh Raman @ email@example.com
The JJFC Spring Academy Soccer program will run for 8 weeks from 4/13 to 6/14. There are no sessions Memorial Day Weekend (5/23-5/25). A rain date is scheduled for the weekend of 6/20-21.
By popular demand, we will be offering flexible Training packages. Play as little, or as much as you would like! You can choose to play in our Sunday, parent-led games, or choose from one of two other offerings. A Sunday PLUS one weekday training session, or for those that are interested in moving to Travel next season, we will have a Pre-Travel package that includes the Sunday Game and 2 weekday training sessions. We hope this flexibility helps our multi-sport athletes stay in soccer this Spring, plus advance those players interested in a little more!
Having a choice to play near home has been a hit. Once again, we will schedule 2 sessions of mid-week practices for Kinder to 7/8th Grade on both sides of Lewisboro. The final locations are TBD, but expect IMES/KES and Onatru/MPES to be targeted.
As always, mid-week training sessions will be taught by our UKElite Staff and will focus on ball mastery skills and tactical play. Sundays will feature a Parent-led small-sided game. Our Lil' Jay's(2&3), Pre-K(4) and K(5) will be on Saturday afternoons at IMES and will be led by our UKElite Staff.
We will also be offering our 30+ Adult Division and our "Rising Stars Program" for children with special needs will shift to Baseball for the Spring.
Our early registration window will expire on 3/21. A nominal late fee will be charged to cover any rush orders for shirts and/or equipment up to our final registration date of 4/3.
As always, we need Parent-Coaches to Coordinate the age groups and help run our Sunday games. Please consider registering yourself as an Assistant Coach, Coach, or Age-Group Coordinator.
